Wenzel Hirschl was husband to Margarete for 73 years and father to Richard and Robert. He was a machinist and tool & die maker. He valued tradition and lived his life with genuine honesty and integrity.
He enjoyed life to the fullest, spending his time and energy on things that mattered to him. He was not materialistic. People were always more important to him than things. He taught those values in the personal and professional lives of his children.
Wenzel grew up in Elpersdorf near Ansbach, Germany. He and Margarete were married in 1953 and moved from Germany to Canada that same year. In 1964 he moved from Toronto to Southern California.
They found the Phoenix Club, a German organization in Anaheim. It was a big part of their social life for over 50 years. Wenzel will be remembered in his natural habitat, dressed in lederhosen and having the time of his life.
