In Loving Memory of Thula Kouletsis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Thula, who left us on March 14, 2025, at the age of 64. A bright light in our lives, Thula was known for her boundless intelligence, sharp wit, and deep compassion. She brought joy and laughter to every room she entered and was a cherished sister, daughter, and friend.

Thula had a lifelong love of books. She enjoyed exploring new genres but especially loved science fiction, fantasy, and romance. She had a remarkable ability to get lost in the written word and often shared her insights with others, sparking thoughtful conversations with friends and family. Her ability to articulate ideas with clarity and humor made her a valued presence in every discussion.

An artist in her own right, Thula also had a special affinity for cross stitch. The intricate, delicate designs she created reflected her attention to detail, patience, and creative spirit. Each piece she crafted was a testament to her dedication and love for the art, and her work will be treasured by those who were lucky enough to receive it.

Thula was involved in her community and dedicated much of her time to volunteering. Whether making paracord bracelets for Operation Gratitude or manning a suicide hotline, she was a steadfast advocate for making the world a better place. Her generosity, kindness, and commitment to others will never be forgotten.

Above all, Thula will be remembered for her warmth, her humor, and her unwavering support of those she loved. She had an incredible ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and appreciated. Her legacy of laughter, compassion, and intellectual curiosity will live on in all of us who had the privilege of knowing her.

Thula is survived by sisters Dene Kouletsis and Penny Marion, niece Niki Marion, and her loving family and friends. She joins those who passed before her, including her parents, Costas and Nikki Kouletsis.

A celebration of Thula’s life is being planned for a future date where friends and family can gather to honor her memory and the joy she brought to this world.

Rest in peace, dear sister. You were loved beyond measure, and you will always be in our hearts.
