Marylin Sidzyik

Marylin Jean Bauer Sidzyik, 79, of Oceanside, California, died August 27, 2026 at Scripps Health Center due to complications of heart, kidney and liver failure. She was born March 4, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska, to Edward George Bauer and Mary Theresa Schimonitz Bauer.

Marylin was a licensed practical nurse, realtor and beautician.

She married Gerald "Jerry" Thomas Sidzyik, September 4, 1976, in Omaha, Nebraska. They lived in Houston, Texas, before moving to California. She enjoyed cooking, garage-saling with Jerry and shopping on QVC.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joan Sleeter-Pecha; brother, John Edward Bauer; parents-in-law, Egnace and Alice Sidzyik, and brother-in-law, John Edward Sidzyik.

She is survived by her husband; stepchildren, Jeri Ann Sidzyik-Ferris-Aandahl, Ken and Jeff Sidzyik-Ferris.

Brother, Tom (Judy) Bauer; sisters-in-law, Suzy Bauer, Mari Matulka, Marilyn (Dave) Jensen, Ann (Calvin) Millet; brothers-in-law, Bill (Phyllis) Sidzyik, and Dan Sidzyik.
