Gerardo - Burciaga

Gerardo "Jerry" Burciaga, born on July 14, 1983, in Los Angeles, California, left us far too soon on October 20, 2025, in San Diego, California. Jerry was a free spirit whose outgoing nature touched the lives of many around him. He was known for his infectious laughter and ability to make people smile, reminding us all of the joy that life can bring.

Jerry attended Fremont High School. His hobbies included collecting unique items and comics, passions that highlighted his creative imagination and distinctive personality. Those who knew him would agree that he was always ready to make you smile or share a hilarious story, building connections that will be cherished by family and friends.

He is survived by his brothers, Eddie Almejo and Davie Almejo, and his sister, Silvia Almejo. Together, they remember him not just for his humor but for the warmth and love that he freely gave. Jerry’s legacy of kindness and laughter will be forever etched in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Zoila Burciaga, who will no doubt embrace him with open arms in eternity. Jerry’s life, though brief, was vibrant and full of love, making an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
