Francis "Frank" Gigliotti, born on September 25, 1943, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2024, at the age of 80. He was the beloved son of Frank and Carmela Gigliotti and one of five brothers.
Frank graduated from Edison High School and soon after joined the United States Air Force, where he served his country honorably for four years. It was during his time stationed in Roswell, New Mexico, that he met the love of his life, Norma Gonzales. Frank and Norma were married for 58 wonderful years, a union marked by deep love and unwavering commitment.
Throughout his life, Frank lived in various places, beginning in New Jersey, then moving to New Mexico and Oklahoma before finally settling in San Diego, California. Each place he called home was enriched by his presence and the warmth of his spirit.
Frank was known for his extraordinary generosity and kindness. He had a remarkable ability to connect with others and always made time to help those in need. His compassionate nature and willingness to lend a hand made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
Frank is survived by his devoted wife, Norma, and their two children, Angela and Frank Jr. He was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.
A memorial service to celebrate Frank's life will be held at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego on June 28, 2024.
Frank Gigliotti will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his honorable service to his country, and his incredible generosity and kindness. His legacy of love, strength, and integrity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
